본작품은 쌍둥이이면서도 서로를 사랑하는 도쿄에 있는 학교에 다니는 사쿠라이 유키노(櫻井雪乃)와 사쿠라이 카나데(櫻井奏). 이 두 명의 자매의 일상을 그린 학원 코미디이다. 각 화마다 10분 내외의 짧은 이야기로 구성되어있으며, 부정기적으로 니코니코 동화에서 배부 방영되었다. 이 작품의 가장 큰 특징은 자매 백합물이라는 사실이다. 비록 두 명은 이어질 수 없는 자매 사이라 하더라도 서로에 대한 감정과 인연을 키워나가면서 성장해나가는 스토리라고 할 수 있다. 이러한 전개가 큰 화제가 되었다. 자매들은 서로뿐만 아니라 주변에 있는 여러 사람들과의 교류를 통해서 점차 성장해나가며, 이러한 과정이 이야기의 주축이다.
