gayageum, un instrumento tradicional coreano. Ambos se conocen en una universidad de artes escénicas, y sus distintos mundos musicales chocan. Pero Shin, quien inicialmente mostraba interés por la profesora de danza Jung Yoon-soo, ahora se siente atraído por la vivaz Gyu-won, proveniente de un prestigioso entorno de música tradicional. Ambos son apasionados de sus respectivos estilos musicales y tienen problemas para encontrar puntos en común.
