Il mondo è caduto in rovina migliaia di anni addietro, ma un misterioso uomo di nome "Y" lo ha "ricostruito" grazie a un complesso meccanismo di ingranaggi. Al tempo in cui si svolge la storia, Naoto Miura è un allegro liceale con la passione per gli ingranaggi ma improvvisamente gli arriva in casa una scatola da cui esce una bella androide di nome RyuZU.
